Call Your Banker is the next one in a long line of impressive individuals produced by 381-8, the ‘Train Station’ sow. Most notably known for being the mother of ‘305’, this sow continues to stamp uniqueness – regardless of the sire choice. Her first litter included ‘Burnin Roses’ who happens to be the sire of Bank On It’s dam. Last summer, her Cry About It litter yielded Max’s Champion Duroc & Supreme Champion Bred & Owned Gilt at the ’25 NJSS. The summer before, she produced a covey of Waymaker daughters that have been building blocks for the HHMX program. This time, she stamped another one with her trademark hair – in places most don’t have it – sired by the popular Bank On It at Purple Power. • We realize Duroc breeders will have access to several Bank On It sons this season and rightfully so, his popularity is unmatched. We haven’t seen them all and won’t speculate where this one ranks with the rest, but we think he’s pretty neat and we’ve got a lot of faith in his mother. Admittedly we’ve been on the fence about showing this one and finally decided to keep him.
