Olson Farms has been in business for over 20 years and focused primarily on Duroc showpigs and breeding stock while recently adding a small Yorkshire sow population. Our family operation has been fortunate to have success at all levels of Junior Show competition throughout the county, and we've also had the honor of selling numerous boars that have been influential in both our sow herd and others in the industry. As the kids have grown up around the showring and experienced some success themselves, the older crew is starting to put more focus on raising and selling pigs. With that, we have made the decision to keep a handful of boars back to use on our own sows over the last couple years. We know the importance of believing in our own program and are utilizing these sires heavily here at home. While we aren't striving to be a large scale stud, we do look forward to the opportunity to showcase what we are building in Elkhart and offer use to other breeders.
